In 2009, 6 women from Singapore climbed Mount Everest – the highest mountain in the world. Mount Everest is in the Himalayas. Climbing the highest mountain is the greatest dream of climbers. There have been many expeditions and the difficulties of climbing the mountain are apparent. If you still want to conquer its peak, snow and avalanche are your greatest foes. The extreme weather conditions account to many tragedies but more people still consider it.

Reaching the peak is a fulfilment. If you are eyeing for the Everest, you need to prepare and it may take many years to be skilled enough and master the art of mountain climbing. Do not be discouraged despite being a female. Start by your training exercises or physical conditioning. Here are some preparations that you can consider:

Build Strength

When you climb mountains, you do not need to lift something but you need to build your strength for the long walk and the heavy bag. You should do bodyweight training.

Increase Endurance

Increasing endurance or stamina is important to ensure that you get to the top. Endurance means coping up and being alert at the same time. You can do aerobic training.

Get the Right Altitude

When you climb higher, your body needs to work harder. You need altitude training and many years of climbing if you are eyeing Mount Everest. Altitude training should be undertaken.

Climb Some More

Climbing one mountain is not enough. If you are serious about Mount Everest, you should climb as many as you can so you can endure the highest peak.

You have to remember that you are not in a rush. Mountain climbing is not a contest. You need to start gradually and if you have soreness, it is advisable to rest for a whole. More importantly, you should make sure that you continuously drink fluids.
